“The three-year-long adventure to get this book written has had its ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
My love for storytelling matured when I discovered a simple little game called Dungeons & Dragons. I fell in love with writing and creating characters to play and worlds to play in, and it was this very same process that birthed the idea of the book Forged by Fire.
The main character, Arthur, has his world destroyed as his hometown gets attacked, his family gets kidnapped, and he’s left for dead. He now needs to take what his father has taught him about what being a man means and dive into a dangerous world to save his family.
Being that this is my very first book written and published, I can say that writing a book is one of the hardest things you’re ever going to do, but also one of the most satisfying.
I’ve worked hard on creating characters that drive the story and the world they have set in forward. Real characters, with real struggles, ideals, bonds, and flaws.
My hope when someone reads Forged by Fire is that they see a story of hope and resilience and that they see the value of biblical, real manhood in a world where men are not valued more and more.
I hope everyone that reads the books enjoys it and can walk away from it having enjoyed a great story and having learned something about themselves.”
