There are no doubt many gods. The most known are those found in Greek and Norse mythology, like Zeus (Greek) and Loki (Norse) to name a couple.
However, Africa has its many great and powerful gods too. Gods of war, of death, of wisdom. Some are: Anansi, Obatala, Oya, Shango, and Aje Shaluga to name a few. Moreover, some of those gods also made it into the Americas: Yemaja, Oxosi, Exu, and Xango which are ingrained with Roman Catholicism.
